Priya Singh is a PPS (Provincial Police) officer of the batch of 2018. According to reports, she was always good at studies. Her education was completed in Bareilly City, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her B.Sc degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and holds an M.Sc degree in Physics. During her post-graduation, she was the topper of her college and was also awarded a gold medal by the state governor.
The most impressive thing about Priya Singh is that she has cleared the UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) exam twice. The first time she qualified the UPPSC exam was in 2017, after which she got a job in the Income Tax (IT) department.
Then she decided to take the UPPSC exam again. In 2018, she qualified the exam again and was given the post of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police). According to an interview she gave to the media, Priya said that to prepare for the exam, she first focused on the subjects she found easy and it helped her achieve high scores. She added that the students who want to take this path should take notes of the important issues and read the newspapers daily.
Currently, Priya Singh is posted as DSP in Kanpur Dehat. She lives in Mansarovar Colony, Bulandshahr. According to reports, her father Rampal Singh is an inspector posted in Mathura. Her grandfather is a retired SHO (Station House Officer).
The UPPSC or the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on April 1, 1937. Its aim is to recruit candidates for various posts in the state. The commission is governed by the Uttar Pradesh Service Commission Regulation, 1976. The headquarters of the commission is located in Prayagraj, UP.
