The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has published the recruitment notice for 5,529 vacancies on its official website. According to the notice released by the Commission, the recruitment will be for Group 2 for 116 posts and for Group 2A for 5413 posts. Candidates who wish to apply can do so online through the official websites of the commission – tnpsc.gov.in or tnpscexams.net. The application process has started on February 23rd and the last date to apply is March 23rd.
The selection of candidates will be based on three phases: preliminary rounds, main courses and interview. the exam will take place on 21 May from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. For the time being, the main exam will take place in September and the interview in February next year.

TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply must be between 21 and 32 years of age. The candidates with a bachelor’s degree in law have an age limit of 33 years. Furthermore, candidates must possess a graduate degree from a university or institute recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The candidate must be a graduate of a university established in India by an act of the central or state legislature or any other educational institution established by statute.

TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
For the various positions that are released by the committee, the selection takes place via the Combined Civil Service Investigation. The exam will take place in two phases. The first stage is the preparatory exam and the second is the main written exam, followed by the interview process. The preliminary examination will amount to 300 points. The second leg has a weight of 850 marks. The written exam will be 750 points and the interview 100 points.
