The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is expected to announce the results of the TS intermediate 1st and 2nd year in the coming week. The results could be available by this month, but so far there is no confirmation from the board. As soon as the results are available, the TS interim results for the first year and the second year will be available on the official websites at tsbie.cgg.gov.in, result.cgg.gov.in and manabadi.co.in. The results are also hosted by News18.com.
Nearly 9 lakh students had appeared for the TS intermediate exam this year. In addition to the official websites, students can also check their results via SMS, DigiLocker and the ‘T App Folio’ app. It can also be checked directly at news18.com. To pass the TS inter 1st and 2nd year exam, students must score a minimum of 35 percent in each subject and overall. In subjects, for which theoretical and practical exams are made separately, students must pass both papers. In the 100-character exam, the pass marks become 40, but in the 80-character theory exams, the pass marks are about 20. The TS Inter exams were held in April this year.
This year, during the TS Inter exams, students of the Hindi medium had complained about poorly translated questions during the board exams. The TS inter-students claimed they were getting handwritten questions instead of printed ones and had demanded compensation.
Meanwhile, only 49 percent of students passed the exam last year. A total of 4,59,242 students had appeared for the intermediate exams of the TS, of which only 2,24,012 passed. Of the total, 56 percent were girls and 42 percent were boys. The Telangana SSC 2022 results were supposed to be released tomorrow, June 25, but have now been postponed. More than 5 lakh students had appeared for Telangana SSC exams.
