The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Friday warned students against admission to the All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences (AIPHS), saying the self-proclaimed institution is not authorized to award degrees. “It has come to our attention that the All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences (AIPHS), which has its office in Alipur, Delhi, is offering various degree programs in gross violation of the UGC Act of 1956.
The said institute is not recognized by UGC in terms of establishment nor is it authorized to award degrees,” said UGC Secretary Rajnish Jain. “The general public, students, parents and other stakeholders are warned not to access the self-proclaimed institution,” he added.
