The incessant rains have flooded many areas in Bengaluru. In recent days, many areas in the city have been flooded. In the midst of this, people are transported by tractors through flooded neighborhoods. Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal talks about his experience and also shared a video of his family and pet being evacuated on a tractor after his residence was submerged in water. He also asked people to take care of themselves and to contact him if they needed help.
He shared a video on Twitter, writing: “Family and my pet Albus has been evacuated on a tractor from our society which is now under water. Things are bad. Please be careful. Send me a DM if you need any help, I’ll do my best to help.”

Due to severe flooding in the city, many IT workers in Bengaluru use tractors to commute to work. On September 5, many local employees of IT companies came to work by tractor. A local woman told the media she can’t take that many leaves from the office. She added that she has to go to work because the work is being affected, which is why they are waiting for tractors to put them to work for Rs 50, she told media.
Several private schools in the city have declared holidays and switched to online teaching for a few days. Meanwhile, many offices in the city have also suggested that employees work from home. Most parts of the outer ring road, Sarjapur road, where some IT companies are located, resembled lakes, affecting vehicular traffic.
