The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will be announcing the Class 10 and Class 12 results soon. While there is no official announcement, the results are expected to be announced as early as June 17. The exact dates can be expected shortly after UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked authorities to release the results in a timely manner.
More than 52 lakh students are waiting for their exam results under UP Board. A total of 27.8 lakh students were from class 10 and about 24.1 lakh were from class 12. The class 10 exams were held from March 24 to April 13 and the class 12 exams were held from March 24 to 13 April. Now, with most boards announcing their results, UP Board is also expected to announce the results shortly.

Those who took the class 10 and class 12 exams of UP Board will be able to check their grades on the official websites upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in as they become available. To check the results of the UP board one has to use their roll numbers and school codes. The results will also be available on News18.com. For both classes, 30 percent of the syllabus was removed, but there were some questions from the excluded parts of the exams. In this regard, it has been decided that all students will receive bonus points for any question that is asked outside the syllabus.
Last year, a record number of students passed UP Board because the results were calculated based on an alternative way of grading. For high school students, the pass rate was the highest ever at 99.53 percent, and the pass rate among inter-students was 97.88 percent. In 2020, a whopping 83 percent of students passed grade 10 UP Board exams and 74 percent passed grade 12.
The main or final result of the 10th and 12th UP Board exams is established by adding together the theoretical and practical marks for both grades 10 and 12. To pass the exam, students must score a minimum of 33 percent points in each of the subjects as well as overall. Based on the final grades, the UPMSP prepares the merit list. As soon as the results are known, the top list will also be released.
