Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh will help girls become self-reliant by providing vocational training in schools.
Training partners of the Skill Development Mission will offer training in related professions.
The initiative will start in the state’s upgraded Kasturba Balika Vidyalayas.
Vijay Kiran Anand, director general of school education, has issued an order directing Kasturba Balika Vidyalayas to ensure that all girls participate in this program.

The order also states that meetings will be held to raise awareness of the value of vocational training at the community level.
This will be done with the participation of the District School Inspector, the Director and District Coordinator of the Skills Development Mission, the District Elementary Education Officer, and the District Coordinator for Girls’ Education.
According to Rajeev Yadav, deputy director of the skills development mission, “a total of 54 Kasturba Balika Vidyalayas have been notified. The training at these schools will start soon. The registration process has started.”
“In the program, the responsibility for teaching girls lies with our affiliated training partners.”
