The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) will soon issue a notice inviting applications to fill 26,382 posts of officer and firefighter through direct recruitment. Candidates could apply for a total of 26,210 police officer posts and 172 firefighter positions. Once the link is activated, candidates can apply online once the official notice is released by UPPBPB on its website – uppbpb.gov.in. A total of 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the UP Police recruitment exam 2022.
UPPBPB UP Police Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply, the candidates are expected to be between the ages of 18 and 22, as reported daily by a leading news outlet. According to the expected educational qualification, the candidates must have completed Class 12 to apply for the positions.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the UPPBPB
Step 2: On the homepage, search for the notification of UP Police agent recruitment 2022 and click on it
Step 3: Now go through the online application instructions mentioned on the page and have the required documents ready before filling the application form
Step 4: Register now as a new user or just login if you are already registered
Step 5: Then fill the registration form carefully by entering all the required details and providing the necessary documents
Step 6: Click ‘Submit’ after filling the application form
Step 7: Save the application form for future reference
UPPBPB UP Police Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Reportedly, the survey will be conducted offline using OMR sheets. The exam will consist of objective questions to be answered by the candidates in the OMR sheets. The Exam Director is not expected to conduct the exams online or CBT (Computer Based Test).

The UPPBPB will charge the examination office with the preparation of a question bank consisting of 5,000 questions. After this, the board selects a final set of questions for the recruitment exam. The questions cover topics such as general knowledge, general Hindi, science, numeracy, mental aptitude and reasoning ability.
