The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the official notice for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) II and National Defense Academy (NDA) II exams on May 17th, kicking off the registration process. Candidates can now apply for the UPSC CDS/NDA 2023 exam by visiting the official website at upsc.gov.in. The online application form can be submitted until June 6, until 6pm, giving aspiring candidates the opportunity to begin their journey towards a career in defense services.
The application correction facility opens on June 7 and closes on June 13. “If a candidate wishes to make a change to his/her OTR profile during this period, he/she should log into the OTR platform and take the necessary steps accordingly,” the official notice read. The UPSC CDS/NDA 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on September 3.
Follow these steps to complete the UPSC CDS/NDA 2023 application form:
Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the UPSC CDS 2023 or UPSC NDA 2023 link on the home page. Then click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
Step 3: Log in with your login details such as email address and password or mobile number.
Step 4: In the new window, fill the UPSC CDS/NDA 2023 application form with the required information.
Step 5: Pay the prescribed fee, upload the required scanned documents and select your preferred exam center. After you have filled in all the details, submit the form.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and keep a copy of it for future reference.

Age Requirement:
For CDS: Candidates must be between 20 and 24 years old on the date indicated in the examination year.
Marital status:
Both CDS and NDA candidates must be unmarried. Married persons are not eligible for these exams. To complete the UPSC CDS/NDA 2023 application form, a set of scanned documents is required, including:
-A valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter Card, Driver’s License).
-Photo and signature.
-Class 10, 12 and Degree Certificates.
-Bank details of the online application fee payment.
