UPSC Mains Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission will soon announce the UPSC Mains Result 2024. Once released, candidates can check the result on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
However, the Commission is yet to announce the official date and time of the UPSC Civil Services Mains result declaration. Following past trends, the UPSC CSE Mains result is declared in December every year. Last year the results were announced on December 8.
How can I check the UPSC mains result 2024?
UPSC aspirants who have appeared for the Civil Services Main Examination 2024 must follow the steps below to access the result.
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the UPSC Mains Result 2024 link.
Step 3: The user will be redirected to a new PDF file where candidates can check the result with their roll numbers.
Step 4: Save and download the file. Take a printout and keep the paper version for further reference.
The cutoffs, merit list and other details apart from results will be published on the official website. Eligible candidates are eligible to participate in the next round, a personal interview. This is expected to take place next month, in January 2025.
This year, the Union Public Service Commission conducted the Civil Services Main Examination on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29. The three-hour exams were administered in two shifts. The first shift exam was conducted between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM and the second shift exam was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Registration for the recruitment drive started on February 14 and ended on March 5. The preliminary examination was conducted on June 16 and the results were announced the following month, on July 1. This recruitment process is taking place to appoint qualifying candidates to 1,056 vacant posts.
