The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the 2022 Public Service Preparatory Examination at upsc.gov.in. The exam took place on June 5 and candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scores using their roll numbers. Selected candidates are also required to complete a detailed application form (DAF) for the National Civil Service Examination.
The cut-off and answer key for UPSC CSE prelims is not yet known. It will be released along with the final result. The end result for UPSC consists of UPSC qualifying rounds, mains power and personality test rounds. UPSC has released a PDF containing the roll numbers of all candidates who have passed the preliminary exam. Now students can go to the official website to check if their roll number is in the list.

Those who made it should prepare for Mains and those who couldn’t can try again. Each candidate who appears on the exam has six attempts at officialdom. For OBC candidates, the number of attempts is nine, and also for those in the Physically Different (PwBD) category, the number of attempts is nine, but for SC, ST candidates, the number of attempts is unlimited.
The written exam consists of two qualifying papers of 300 points each. Part A is one of the Indian Languages chosen by candidates and Part B is English. The papers counted for merit are essay papers for 250 points and general studies for 250 points. This includes Indian heritage and culture, history and geography of the world and society. Paper 3 is made up of general students including governance, constitution, policy, social justice, and international relations. Paper III consists of (Technology, Economic Development, Biodiversity, Environment, Safety and Disaster Management and (Ethics, Integrity and Suitability). Students would also appear for the elective.
