This year, the Uccha Madhyamik board exams in West Bengal 2022 will be held at the respective schools, and according to the covid guidelines, the testing centers in the state have been increased. More than 6000 exam centers have now been identified for administering board exams. However, this led to the question of whether there will be enough teachers at all these examination centers.
Meanwhile, thanks to the Utashree program set up by the state government, several teachers have been transferred from one school to another. More than 10,000 teachers have been transferred as part of this new project. Several state schools in villages across the state also saw a drop in teacher numbers. In many schools, the number of teachers has been reduced to just three or four. This raises the question of whether there will be enough teachers to supervise the students taking the Uccha Madhaymik exams.
