Meanwhile, several social media users have criticized the college. “Shouldn’t #ICFAI be held responsible either. It’s their students and management has failed here. No action from management,” one user tweeted.
The BJP general secretary tweeted: “Himank Bansal studies in IFHE Hyderabad and is attacked and forced to sing ‘Allah Hu akbar’ on campus by senior students of another religion. IFHE falls under Hyderabad’s parliamentary constituency of @asadowaisi, but not a single word from him, not even the media reporting this.”
Another user tweeted: “If these students are not suspended, strict measures will have to be taken. Against the ICFAI management to set an example. This is their small step to promote jihad,” while another said: “Shocking and shameful…”

Does the college have administration? @icfai Has an official statement been issued yet?
Parents send the children there to study after paying high fees, not to get beat up and because they are asked to sing common slogans.— Ragini Ravikiran K? (@RaginiRavikiran) Nov 12, 2022
