Under the auspices of the Indian Institute of Madras, the Center for Outreach and Digital Education has launched this six-month course with the aim of upskilling professionals. The course is online to meet the demands of working professionals. The six-month executive course covers manufacturing technology and management, e-mobility and electric vehicle engineering, operations and supply chain analysis for strategic decision making, quantum computing and additive manufacturing technology.
In addition to online teachers, the online course also includes live interaction with subject matter experts and weekly assignments. The e-Mobility and Electric Vehicle Engineering course is primarily designed to present the basic ideas and practical applications of electric vehicles and related technology. Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate of program completion will be distributed to the group. Registration for the third batch closes on June 20.
In addition to this course, the Quantum Computing Strategic Decision Making Program and the Supply Chain Analytics Program introduce the practical concepts needed to underpin decisions. Taking an additional manufacturing course can help working engineers learn about the basic ideas underlying different manufacturing methodologies and how the knowledge gained is used to advance the commercial viability of additive manufacturing technologies. The course is planned to meet the demands of markets and industry.
Meanwhile, the syllabus for the JEE Advanced exam has been revised for this year. Experts claim that the syllabus would be aligned with the JEE main exam syllabus. The new Joint Admissions Body (JAB) syllabus will also include more chapters in JEE Advanced.
