“Raw wine” is an appropriate label for the category of natural, organic, biodynamic and organic wines with little intervention, ie wines that are not made by conventional methods. Isabelle Legeron, the first female wine master in France and an authority on wines, founded the Raw Wine Club. Subscriptions, each with six bottles and Ms. Legeron’s tasting notes, are $199 per month (including shipping); they ship to most states and are usually available through the end of one month for delivery the following month. Some of the picks for April were 2020 Palmento Vino Rosso from Sicily, Umberto 2020 from Piemonte and 2019 Ancestral Blanc from the Loire.
