The chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, is an avid social media user who regularly shares posts that pique the interest of users. A recent post Mr Mahindra shared on Twitter is gaining popularity on social media.
The businessman posted an image of a Lego store in Manhattan, New York on Thursday. Mr Mahindra was quite amused by the fact that the Taj Mahal Lego was out of stock, while the White House toy block set was in full stock.
Lego store in Manhattan New York. Interesting that the Taj Mahal flies off the shelf faster and is out of stock, but the White House abounds… Maybe there should be some sort of @LEGO_Group Index of relative brand values! pic.twitter.com/5tgZdwNxCQ

“Lego store in Manhattan, New York. Interesting that the Taj Mahal flies off the shelf faster and is out of stock, but the White House abounds… Maybe there should be some sort of LEGO group index of relative brand values !” said the Mahindra Group chairman in his August 4 tweet.
The post received more than 1,700 likes and more than 100 retweets. It caused a barrage of comments from Mr Mahindra’s followers and other Twitter users. Some of them also pointed out that the Taj Mahal Lego set was more expensive than the White House box.
“Taj Mahal is a wonder of the world, while the White House is not. I think that’s why the Taj Mahal is selling so highly,” said one user.
“And look, the price of the Taj Mahal is more expensive than the White House,” commented another.
The Lego Group, which has been making building blocks since 1949, is headquartered in Billund, Denmark. The brand’s flagship is available in a variety of colors, has interlocking plastic blocks and is sold with a range of gears and other accessories.
Different combinations of Lego parts can be used to create structures, vehicles and useful robots. Everything that is made can be taken apart and the parts can be used to build new things.
Recently, Mr Mahindra shared a video of a road surface covering potholes and acting as a watertight seal over cracks and fissures that went viral on social media.
