Officers are on the scene of a crashed vehicle that rode in a crowd in Hollywood in the early hours of 19 July 2025, according to the Los Angeles fire brigade injured 28 people.

A car struck early on Saturday morning in a crowd outside of a nightclub in Los Angeles and injured at least 30 people before the driver was attacked by spectators and shot, the police and fire brigade said the city.
At least seven people were in critical condition and six others were seriously injured, the fire brigade said in an online statement.
The incident, which took place outside a club called De Vermont, took place just before 2 hours local time (0900 GMT), said the fire and police departments.
Captain Adam Vangpen, spokesperson for a fire brigade, was quoted by ABC News as said that the car apparently first in a Taco truck outside the club and then went through a valet position and in a large group of people.
The Los Angeles police said on X that it was still investigating why the driver hit the crowd.
Officers who responded to a radio call of an attack with a fatal weapon discovered that the driver had been shot while he was attacked by spectators, the police said, adding that he was taken to a hospital and his condition was unknown.
A man who was suspected of shooting the driver fled the stage on foot and was possibly armed with a silver revolver, the police said.
