The Australian women’s cricket team is on tour with five T20I matches in India. The guests won three of the first four games to take a comfortable 3-1 lead. Not only this, the Aussies also enjoy their stay off the field as they indulge in activities that embrace Indian culture. In one such incident, Amanda Wellington, right arm leg spinner for the Australian cricket team, shared a photo of herself donning a traditional Indian sari.
Ms Wellington took to Twitter yesterday to share the post. She can be seen wearing a pink saree and snapping a mirror selfie. The cricketer customizes the look with henna also applied to her hands. Along with the photo, she wrote, “Well in a saree if I’m wearing it wrong please tell me what we think?”

Since being shared, her tweet has received a lot of appreciation from her Indian fans. It has collected more than 57,000 likes and two thousand retweets.
“Beautiful. God bless you,” said one user.
One user gave the bowler some advice on saree draping skills. She said, “Nice, you did your best. Make sure all the pleats are in an even position. Make as many pleats as you can. That looks good. You can also pin them. Adjust the size of the pallu. It looks look good when it’s long.”

“Great, if you wore it all by yourself the first time, some of us still can’t manage to do it after learning it so many times,” another person added.
A few days ago, she shared a video of mehndi dressed and was “over the moon” at how beautifully it turned out.
