The message goes viral on the internet.
Meanwhile, this incident only adds to the list of unique encounters people have had in Bengaluru. Previously, a motorist in the IT city ingeniously integrated a QR code as a screensaver for his smartwatch. A photo of the driver accepting payment via the code displayed on his watch and calling the man “Tony Stark” from the movie “Iron Man” went viral.
“Today I met Namma Tony Stark in @nammayatri. I asked my car driver for the QR code. The guy turned his hand and showed me his smartwatch. Turns out he saved the QR code as his smartwatch screensaver. So much swag,” the user said. @_waabi_saabi_ tweeted.
In another case, a woman shared her highlight reel in Bengaluru. She went to X and told about her encounter with a motorist who gave her an ultimatum about the waiting time.
Apparently the woman booked the ride through Uber, but couldn’t reach the pick-up location on time. The car driver contacted her via the application’s messaging service. He beeped, “I’ve arrived.” The driver nudged again: “I’ve arrived.” When the customer couldn’t connect, the driver wrote, “Time is up.”
