In the video, an IndiGo pilot, who is a mother herself, made a heartwarming announcement for all the mothers on board the flight. Addressing the passengers and crew, Pilot Sameera Shamsuddin said, “Today we celebrate Mother's Day here at Indigo. So from mother to mother, I would first like to wish all the mothers on board a very Happy Mother's Day.” She also called on all mothers by asking them to raise their hands.
Later, a special card with a powerful message was distributed to all mothers. “We have a little surprise for all of you today. And it is a very important message that I hope is conveyed very well so that there will be many pilots in the future,” the pilot said as he dealt the cards.
The card said ''Beti bachao. Beti Padhao. Beti ko pilot banao (Make your daughter a pilot.).'' After receiving the cards, the women happily showed them off and posed with their children.
