A young boy in China almost led his father in trouble after calling the police officers and reported him as a “bad guy” who had “robbed his Lunar New Year Lucky Money. The incident happened earlier this month in Lanzhou in the province of Gansu when the police received a phone call from the boy.
“A bad guy is in my house and he robbed my money,” the boy said on the phone, according to a report in South China Morning Post. The officer who took the call also heard the voice of a man shouting, “You naughty boy, you called the police!”

Father apologizes
The boy's father immediately apologized to the police officers and said: “I am sorry, comrade police. My son was not well trained. I did not expect that he would really call the police.”
He explained that the boy had argued about custody about the money in the envelope and later used the mobile phone to call the police.
After access to the situation, a police officer said to the boy: “You let your father save the money for you. If you need money, ask him to give you and record all your expenses, okay?”
