Six passengers on a KLM flight from Manchester to Amsterdam got into a huge fight aboard the plane before being arrested and taken away by police on Thursday. In the video posted by Twitter user @MayaWilkinsonx, two of the men can be seen holding a passenger while another group punches him. The captain of the flight can be seen trying to end the fight, but the attempt has largely failed. According to the passenger who posted the video, the row broke out between British citizens after a group made a racist comment to a fellow passenger.

As the video progresses, the cabin crew can be heard trying to calm the situation, with even the pilot making a similar call. According to Dutch news, one of the six passengers involved in the fight suffered minor injuries. The Dutch Marechaussee, which is in charge of airport security, has confirmed the incident and has announced that it has launched an investigation into the behavior of the six British men.
According to The daily email the passenger who posted the images to Twitter said: “We had just landed in Amsterdam, it was really sweltering the whole flight… They were fighting almost half way through the flight. I sat a few rows back, they finally said something racist to an Asian boy and he started screaming but it split up… They were about to leave and as they were taking their bags out of the bugged locker they started to fight .”
A spokesman for the airline said on Friday: “Yesterday we had some unruly passengers on our KLM 1070 flight from Manchester to Amsterdam. The captain and cabin crew ended a fight between two groups of passengers. All involved are on arrival at Schiphol. “There was no delay. KLM will not tolerate aggression against employees or passengers. We apologize to our passengers who may have been affected by the incident.”
