Just mentioning a bomb alert has the power to sow fear in the hearts of both passengers and crew members. And a similar incident occurred on the flight of Copa Airlines, who was originally on its way to Tampa from Panama City, because it had to return for research due to a suspected bomb report, shortly after it had been in the air for about an hour.
The flight of Copa Airlines was on the way to Tampa, Florida, from the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City on Friday, when it received information about a suspicious object in one of the toilets of the aircraft. The plane returned to Panama, where it was led to a remote asphalt. Subsequently, all 144 passengers were evacuated and an anti-explosive team examined the plane thoroughly.
The Security Team of the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, however, carried out an extensive investigation into the flight and discovered that the suspected bomb was in fact a diaper for adults.
The National Police of Panama wrote on her X-handle: “After a warning by @aacivilpty about a strange object on board an airline, the units of the Special Forces activated the emergency protocol, and with verification it turned out to be a disposal of adults . “

“We had it on a secure runway where the police, special explosives, dog units and special troops investigated the object and discovered that it was a diaper for adults, which excludes any risk,” said Jose Castro, the head of the security team of the airport.
The flight initially left at 9.36 am, but after returning to Panama City for security check, the flight left shortly after 2 pm and finally arrived in Tampa just before 7 pm, according to The New York Post.
