In England, a councilor was notified of a mess made by an unidentified person. When he got there, he found that there were over 210 bags of dog feces, which were said to have been thrown by one person.
Tim Prater, chairman of Sandgate Parish Council and also a councilor on Folkestone & Hythe District Council, wrote in a Facebook post that he found more than 200 bags of dog faeces near a school next to a footpath.
He shared the details on Facebook, writing: “I was alerted on social media to a problem with bagged dog faeces along the footpath on Coolinge Lane near Sandgate Primary School. I went there this morning to track down the problem and to clarify what I could.”
“In just over 30 minutes I picked up (and now removed and disposed of) 210 black bags of dog poop. I certainly didn’t catch everyone, but I hope most of them,” he continued.
When he discovered that the style of buttons and pack were the same, he said, “Same bags. Same buttons. Without wanting to be too detailed, similar stuffing. So one person thoughtfully picked up his dog and put it in a bag, then hurled it over a fence. 210 times.”
Mr. Prater turned to the unknown person and said, “To that person: grow up. Take it home with you. Almost everyone does – what makes you special? And, to be clear, once you’ve packed all your bags, they don’t biodegrade.”
“Everyone from the top to literally the bottom of the pile you made still had ‘structural integrity’. They would sit there for years. You don’t half do the right thing. Take. It. Home.”
Mr Prater said he will talk to Folkestone and Hythe District Council about placing some extra bins along the road, although there are already a few as there are two schools nearby.
