Sam Altman and his confusing AI opposite Aravind Srinivas had an airy grant on X after OpenAi announced a new update of the Chatgpt 4O model.
“It's pretty good. It will soon be much better, the team cooks,” Mr Altman gave a taste of the upgrade. Mr. Srinivas, whose ai search startup Permexity AI has won, responded with: “Sorry, what is the update?”
Sorry, what is the update?

Mr Altman replied: “Among many other things this is the best search product on the internet! View it and (let me know) what you think.”
Mr. Srinivas shot back. “Lol, I just felt you (yesterday), look at this,” he joked, referring to the latest deep research tool from Pertlexity AI.

Mr. Srinivas, who was once a research trainee at OpenAI before he became a research scientist, eventually left the company to also find perplexity AI. Supported by investors such as Jeff Bezos, PerTlexity AI is quickly expanded.
The deep research tool from Pertlexity takes AI search assignment further than simple questions, performs several searches, analyzes hundreds of sources and collecting detailed reports in less than three minutes. The company has positioned itself as a strong competitor of OpenAi and Google, focused on analysis at expert level in areas such as finance, marketing and health.
Sam Altman kept the chatter friendly. He revealed that he and Mr. Srinivas had already solved tensions if there were. “Because last week you apologized for all the mean tweets, I will let this go. Stay cooking there!” He wrote. “Proud of you,” he added.
Because last week you apologized for all average tweets, I will let this go 🙂
Keep cooking there! Proud of you.

In a separate message, Mr. Srinivas shared the popular Spider-Man-Meme, which indicates the growing rivalry between Pertlexity, OpenAi and Google. He made a direct chance of Google CEO Sundar Pichai and challenged him with a 'your turn next'.

The deep research tool from Pertlexity, designed to record Google and OpenAi, helps users save time by conducting in -depth research into complex topics. It can complete searches in less than three minutes, analyze data and compile transparent reports. The tool is free for all users, while paid users get 500 questions per day for $ 20/month.
Although it falls behind Chatgpt in accuracy ranking, it performs better than models such as Gemini Thinking, Grok 2 and Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Currently available on the Pertlexity website, it will soon be launched on iOS, Android and Mac.
