In a horrifying incident, a Lamborghini SUV in the US landed on the roof of a house after crashing, slipped and caught fire before the driver fled the scene.
On Facebook, the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department in Florida posted several images of the damaged vehicle and said the incident happened on Sunday. “During the career of a firefighter, there are certain phone calls to remember. Today was such a day!” read the caption of the message.
Speaking to local media outlet WSVN, Timothy Heiser, assistant chief of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department, inquired that the Lamborghini SUV had collided with another vehicle and “flew about 20 to 30 feet through the air, hitting the roof of the house landed, hit the tree and fell to the ground and caught fire”.
The images shared by the department showed different views of the incident, with one even capturing the white Lamborghini Urus upside down as firefighters put out the flames. Another photo showed the SUV flipped over with major damage. A third showed the roof of the house on which the car landed and eventually fell off.
In the US, a Lamborghini Urus starts from about $2,50,000 or about Rs 2 crore.

“The occupants of the Lamborghini left the scene of the accident before our crew arrived and the driver of a second vehicle involved in the accident suffered only minor injuries,” a social media post read.
Further, officials said no one in the home where the Lamborghini landed was injured in the horrific incident. However, the home had to be evacuated due to the extent of the damage, she added.
Meanwhile, the fire service’s message, since it was shared, has left internet users stunned. While several users called the incident “terrible”, others wrote, “Insanity… glad no one was hurt but”. One user wrote: “That’s crazy!” “Stupid is what Stupid does,” he added second.
