In an equally bizarre and horrible incident, a 26-year-old man was left after finding out that the girl with whom he was dating for four years was 47 years old, not 27, as she had claimed. The man went to Reddit to post his sorry Tale, where he said the woman told him routinely that she was born in April 1998, but when he went through her laptop, he found her passport, which showed that she was born in 1977.
“I've been going out with my girlfriend for 4 years now and she always claimed to be born in April '98, just to find a photo of her passport in her laptop where '77 is actually,” wrote down in the R/Breakups Subreddit.
The OP said he had no reason to be suspicious, because the woman looked like she was 27 and not someone who touched 50, but admitted that there were a few red flags during the trip.
“In our time there have been a few red flags together that I chose to ignore because I was inexperienced (it is my first long -term relationship),” he said, adding that the woman was obsessed with her appearance and that all her friends were considerably older than 27.
“Every time I asked her to see documents such as Passport/ID, she refused to show me that I was using crazy apologies and tried to avoid the subject.”
During the search, it was also a photo of a positive pregnancy test, clicked only a few months before they met and started dating.
Social media respond
As the post became viral, it invited hundreds of comments, told the majority the man to end the relationship that was built on lies.
“If this is true (Ahem), breaking apart. She has consistently lied to you. Who knows what other things she is hidden from you,” said one user, while the other adds: “That four years of deception would be enough to never trust her. What else is she willing to mislead? That is terribly pathological, TBH.”
A third comment: “Bro this is actually frightening. If this is true, then this woman is literally a psychopath and is capable of much deeper and harmful lies. To do this … is four years … treacherous.”
Other users broke through the profile of it and saw the photo of the woman and empathy with him, stated: “For all people who say he is lying to his profile. I would buy it if she told me she was 27.”
When he was questioned by one of the commentators about the kind of apologies she gave to prevent her from showing her documents, wrote it on: “She had a difficult past, she often said she was raised by her grandfather because her parents did not want to raise her. There is also very little information about her parents.
“With regard to the positive pregnancy test, I have no other information than the one I already mentioned. In essence, I found a photo on her PC of a positive pregnancy test and the photo was taken about 2 months before we first met and started dating.”
