On the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday, Vedanta President Anil Agarwal wished his “maaji” in the most adorable way. On LinkedIn, Mr Agarwal’s daughter, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, shared a video of the “beautiful moment” between her father and grandmother. “Regardless of age, the bond between a child and a mother is always special,” Ms Hebbar wrote in the caption.

The video shows Mr. Agarwal talking to his mother through a video call. He wished his “maajic” a very happy mothers day and asked for her blessings. To this the mother of Mr. Agarwal replied:Maa ka toh humesha he ashirwad hai†
Furthermore, the duo remembered how they used to sing bhajans together when Mr. Agarwal was younger. The pair then sang for two to three lines and finally the video ended with a smile from Mr. Agarwal saying: “Bah”†

In a separate LinkedIn post, Mr Agarwal even re-shared the clip. He wrote: “From feeding my belly with the tastiest” ghee shakkar rotis, to help me succeed in my goals – I owe it all to you, Maaji.” The Vedanta chairman called himself the “happiest son in the world” and thanked his daughter for capturing this moment.
Since it was shared, the post has racked up hundreds of likes and comments. While one user wrote, “mother-child bond always inspires”, another wrote, “very nice gesture”. “Very nice clip actually. You captured the essence of the relationship,” said the third.
