On Tuesday, he shared photos of leak-proof bamboo bottles made in northeastern India, and the response to his tweet on the internet has been overwhelming.
The Minister of Higher Education & Tribal Affairs shared photos of beautiful sustainable bamboo bottles. He also praised the entrepreneurs of northeastern India who are working to harness the true potential of bamboo.
He wrote, “Bamboo dene ka nahin, bamboo se pani peene ka…Bamboo, known as green gold, has unlimited potential and its use in making eco-friendly products will do wonders for Mother Nature. Kudos to all the entrepreneurs from Northeast India who are working to unlock its true potential.”

The bottles shared by Mr Along are made by DB Industries, an Assam-based company dedicated to bamboo products.
A few days ago, Mr. Along’s humorous post about a helicopter he was riding went viral, sparking laughter. Prior to that, the minister posted an intriguing Valentine’s message on Twitter. In a tweet, the Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs wrote, “Freedom is a gift not meant for everyone. Let’s cherish our day. Hail singles!”
