The Central Council of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the exams for class 12 and class 10, ending a long year for students and parents. Students and parents faced numerous challenges this year due to the Covid pandemic. The overall pass rate in Class 12 dropped to 92.71 percent this year.
After the results were announced, social media was flooded with congratulations and #cbseclass12 and #CBSEResults2022 trending on Twitter for several hours. The announcement also spawned a variety of memes and jokes.

For the first time, the CBSE exams were administered in two terms. While the first term was conducted in November-December in 2021, the second term was held in May-June.
A weight of 30 percent is assigned to the first term brands, while 70 percent weight is assigned to the second term brands.
