An American couple who lived in India welcomed their fourth daughter, two -year -old Nisha, by adoption, who completed their families. After a wait of 17 months, Kristen Fischer shared the joyful moment in an Instagram video. In the clip, Mrs. Fischer explained that they started the adoption process in October 2023, in September 2024 they were matched with Nisha and the adoption by 2025. The heart -warming video that Nisha introduced has become viral, with the love and gratitude of the Fischer family.
“Big news: we have been keeping this little secret secret for a while. We have adopted a little girl from India. I would like to introduce Nisha, a joyful small 2-year-old who is now part of our forever,” wrote Kristen Fischer on Instagram.
We started this adoption process 17 months ago and the day we have been waiting for so long has finally arrived! We applied for adoption in October 2023 and were matched with her in September 2024. Now, from April 2025, the adoption is complete and she is our beautiful daughter! We have dreamed of this day for so long. We are so happy that we have this special girl in our lives. She is worth waiting, “she added.

In another video, Mrs. Fischer shared that Nisha was abandoned as a baby and spent her first two years in an orphanage. She further revealed that Nisha was born with bilateral deformations of the lower limbs, but it is not 'what defines her'.
“We decided to adopt a special need for several reasons. But Mainly, we wanted to give a new life to a child that never would have goths it otherwise. and her delightful presence.
