An Australian snake catcher was called to a Melbourne home after a deadly tiger snake was discovered under a baby's bouncy chair. The video of the incident, which went massively viral, shows the expert safely removing the highly venomous snake from its hiding place.

“It's Christmas night and everything is quiet in this house, except for a tiger snake, which was under a child's bouncer,” Mark Pelley, aka The Snake Hunter, says in the caption.
“When mum and dad saw a tiger snake crawling across the lounge late at night and hiding under a child's bouncer, the first thing they had to do was check their eyes again,” he further wrote.
The snake was moved safely with no injuries to humans or reptiles.
This is not the only incident of snakes being discovered in public places in recent times. A few days ago, a snake was found on a pile of files in a Mumbai courtroom, disrupting proceedings for about an hour.
In Mulund magistrate's room number 27, it was 'business as usual' until noon, when a police officer spotted a two-foot snake while going through files.
A lawyer present in the courtroom said the incident caused panic among those present in the courtroom, forcing the judge to temporarily halt the proceedings.
Snake catchers were called in, and they diligently rummaged through the courtroom, filled with loads of old files and hole-ridden walls and floors.
But the snake was not found, the lawyer said, adding that it may have slipped into one of the holes in the room.
After an hour, the legal proceedings resumed.
Interestingly, the sighting of snakes in this courtroom, surrounded by vegetation, was not an isolated incident.
A day earlier, a snake was spotted on a courtroom window. Two months ago, a snake was seen in the judge's chamber, said lawyer Biswaroop Dubey.
