A video of cats at a metro station in the Turkish capital Istanbul, sitting at the entrance, guiding commuters up the escalators and interacting with them in beautiful ways, is going viral on social media. The video was shared on Instagram on September 3 by the account @spontaneouslad. Since it was shared, the clip has amassed over 2 lakh likes. In the video, the cats can be seen on top of the token collection gates and walking up and down the metro station.
“This stray cat took his friends to take over the entire metro station in Turkey,” the caption reads.
Many users took to the comments section of the video to show their love for cats.
“Don’t call them ‘lost’; they are our children and they live with us,” wrote one user commenting on the caption.
