DailyExpertNews cannot independently verify the authenticity of this video. But the viral video has enraged internet users and sparked a debate about road safety and animal cruelty. Twitterati was quick to criticize the driver of the car for endangering the dog.
“What worries me is that the dog is wearing a collar, which means they probably own the dog and have placed it on top of the car. This poses a hazard to the road and traffic,” one user wrote. “He can be booked by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals),” said another.

A third user commented: “Definitely the wrong thing to do. Just because an animal can’t talk doesn’t give us the right to put the animal in risky situations….the driver should be well advised.” A fourth added: “People who don’t know how to handle pets should be banned from having them. I am so disturbed to see this; the poor animal would be terrified. Could this be his son or daughter dare to put on?”
One user even pointed out that the vehicle number is visible. The user tagged Bengaluru City Police and asked them to warn the driver for endangering the dog’s life. Another Twitter user asked the authorities to take strict action against the man. “This is cruel to treat an animal like this,” the user wrote.
