Most Indian weddings aren’t complete without ‘baaratisdance their hearts out. However, one such celebration was a bummer at a recent wedding in Uttar Pradesh when the loud music startled the horse and started kicking people around.
A video showing a horse ‘stamping’baraatisdancing in a wedding procession has surfaced online. The incident took place in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh on Monday. At a wedding, the horse was believed to have been triggered by blaring music from the speakers, spiraled out of control and injured about six people.
In the clip is the song ‘Tere Ishq me Naachenge’ can be heard playing through the speakers, while people dance and enjoy the wedding procession. Moments later, when the DJ turned up the volume of the music, the horse lost control and started against the ‘baraatis‘. The wild animal began to run through the crowd and even damaged some bicycles parked by the side of the road.
Six people injured in the incident were taken to a nearby hospital for minor treatment.

According to the locals, because it is an old tradition in UP to make the horse dance at weddings, the owner of the animal tried to make the same thing happen when the horse lost control and started running through the crowd. They also said the incident took place in the town of Maudaha in UP’s Hamirpur district.
The video of the incident was recorded by one of the attendees and has now taken the internet by storm.
Meanwhile, the internet is full of lighthearted humorous animalistic content. A while ago, such a video had gone viral showing a dog on a horse. The little dog on the saddle seemed to be riding alone on the horse without even a harness.
