This video was shot from the beautiful gardens of Isola Bella – one of the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore near Stresa, Italy. White and colored peacocks live freely in the gardens here. The Borromeo Islands are a little paradise in the middle of the lake.

White peacocks are an unusual subspecies of blue peacocks with the Leucism gene mutation. Peacocks that are white in color are born yellow and turn white with age. Partial leucism occurs in pied peacocks, resulting in loss of color in spots.
