Some people love their job. Whatever the situation, however difficult the circumstances, they will always be seen smiling. The job of a traffic cop is one of the toughest, especially in India due to the high volume of traffic. The smoke coming from the vehicles and the high decibel noise at the traffic interchange made it even more stressful. But a video gaining popularity on social media shows a Home Guard deployed as a traffic police officer, enjoying his job immensely.
Jogendra Kumar’s video has been posted on Twitter by news agency ANI. He is seen regulating vehicle movements near the City Heart Hospital in Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

Mr. Kumar can be seen blowing the flute dancing and gesturing to cars and two-wheelers crossing the area. He even strikes a pose while smiling and asking drivers to cross one of the lanes.
The video has nearly 12,000 views and nearly 500 likes. Twitter users love Mr Kumar’s enthusiasm.
“Homeguard personal how active he is! Not even breathing or resting, constantly managing the traffic directions! I really greet the person this way,” said one of the users.
“Fantastic devotion to duty,” tweeted another.
A few years ago, traffic cop Pratap Chandra Khandwal became famous for the interesting way he made people obey traffic rules in Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
The Home Guard was deployed as traffic police personnel, controlling traffic with its dance moves. He became famous among commuters for his distinctive style of directing traffic.
Then Indore’s traffic cop Ranjeet Singh became popular worldwide for his Michael Jackson dance moves to direct traffic. Wearing a mustache, the cop’s moonwalking video over busy intersections went viral.
