A man who collapsed after a heart attack while shopping at an IKEA store in Bengaluru was rescued by a fellow shopper, also a doctor, who managed to resuscitate him in time with CPR or CPR. A video of the incident was posted on Twitter by the doctor’s son and is gaining popularity. It shows a man lying unconscious on the floor. Dressed in a blue shirt, the doctor springs into action and begins giving him chest compressions to restore circulation and breathing. According to the video’s description, the process lasted 10 minutes, after which the man lying on the floor regained consciousness and was seen coughing. Two IKEA employees were also seen helping the man.
The video, shared by Rohit Dak on Twitter, is captioned, “My dad saved a life. We happen to be at IKEA Bangalore where someone had a seizure and no pulse left. Dad worked on him for more than 10 minutes and brought him back to life. Lucky that a trained orthopedic surgeon was shopping in the next lane.” He added: “Doctors are a blessing. Respect!!!”

Since the video was shared, it has more than two lakh views and nine thousand likes. Many praised the doctor for his commitment and dedication to the patient.
“Bring my thanks to him. Nothing is more satisfying than saving a life,” someone said.
A second added: “Doctors are special messengers from God in emergencies. They can take people out of the jaws of death and give them new life. You must be a proud son today and forever.”

“Fortunate person, saved thanks to timely medical care in crucial time,” another person added.
“What a feeling he will have when he brings someone back from near death. No wonder it is called a noble profession,” said another user.
