A public hospital in East Tukey received an unexpected visit last week when an injured stray cat wandered through the property, apparently looking for help. The cat was captured on security cameras entering the hospital in Tatvan town, Bitlis district, through the emergency entrance. Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital, where the cat was visiting, took to Facebook to share the unusual video.
The video shows the black and white cat limping and hobbling into the hospital. She wanders the halls until someone sees him and comes to his rescue. Fortunately, Sister Abuzer Ozdemir saw that the cat was suffering and in pain and rushed to the rescue. The clip then cuts to show the cat on a chair, and the nurse tends to his injuries.

“While I was working I saw a cat walk in and it was disconcerting. When I picked him up for examination I noticed his foot was broken, and I put him in a splint (medical device used to shut down organs I kept the cat under surveillance for a while. Then the cat relaxed and went back from where it came from, as if it knew the way,” nurse Abuzer Ozdemir told the news outlet. Enson Haber. The nurse also added that the cat came back after a few days and had its paw re-examined.
It’s unclear exactly where the cat came from, or what might have caused the injury. The animal was later named “Davso” by the staff, inheriting the name of a cat they had previously adopted that died of natural causes.
Earlier this year, a similar story surfaced from Bihar, where a monkey visited a clinic in Sasaram to have her wounds treated. A video of the incident that went viral showed the monkey in the clinic with her child. People rubbed their eyes in disbelief as a crowd gathered to see the monkey patiently waiting for the doctor.
