Random acts of kindness and small gestures go a long way and can have a lasting impact on someone's life. Recently, a customer shared a post about how Blinkit, an online grocery delivery platform, made his day with a sweet message. Notably, the customer named Prabhat Motwani ordered a few items from Zomato-owned Blinkit from a hospital. When Blinkit noticed his location, he prioritized his order and also sent him and his family their warm wishes.
“Blinkit's small gesture made my day. When I ordered from the hospital, I saw this message on the Blinkit UI: 'We noticed that your order is from a hospital. Sending our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. This is a very small thing' may be ignored by thousands of customers, but this could improve someone's mood who has been in the hospital for the past few days. It's great to see companies going beyond just transactions and showing genuine care for their customers.” , Prabhat Motwani wrote in a post on LinkedIn, attaching a screenshot of Blinkit's post.

One user said: ''A few weeks ago I was admitted to hospital and ordered some supplies from Blinkit at the hospital. Due to hospital security, the delivery person couldn't come to my room, but because we had spoken on call and he had heard my voice, he knew I was in bad shape. Finally the delivery person was able to convince security and came to my room with one of the security guards. As he left, he said some comforting words and I had tears in my eyes. I always say it's the little things in life, and this was one!”
Another commented: “Indian companies are slowly but surely becoming more customer-centric. Zomato/Blinkit has never let us down in such initiatives and is raising the bar every day. I appreciate such kind gestures and hope more companies will follow suit and join us.”
