The CEO of Lawsikho, an online legal education platform, recently went to social media to share how they used artificial intelligence (AI) to discover that an employee had been moonlight. Ramanuj Mukherjee, who went to X, revealed that after they suspected that the employee had a side effect, they uploaded the available data to AI to analyze. They then showed her the data and gave her up to install software for following time and activities for the correct accountability. The employee, however, stopped the job in Rage and went to LinkedIn and called the working culture of the company toxic, written Mr. Mukherjee.
“We had a supicion that soone was moonlighting. We cool the available data to ai to analysis. We showed the results (some of it attached below), demanded she installs a time tracking and activity tracking software for clean accountability. Said,
“Work from home does not mean that you should not have a responsibility and work for an hour, but claim a salary for eight hours.” he added.

Separately, in a detailed LinkedIn post, the co-founder of Lawsikho Yash Vijayvargiya shared that the employee had last reached her target in November. “In the past two months, she only reached 30 percent of her target. The goal remained the same,” he wrote. Mr Vijayvargiya also confirmed screenshots of the AI tool report, according to which the daily working minutes of the employee were far below the goal.
“The data suggests strong part-time work (40 percent of the expected hours) with possible double employment. No day achieved the target of 250 minutes, with considerably inexplicable time and irregular patterns,” the AI report said. It also discovered that almost five hours a day of the employee's working hours were not justified.
Mr. Mukherjee also claimed that the company later discovered that the employee had forged information about her CV. “I just came out with her previous boss founder @ Surasaa and it turns out that she is a productive scammer. She worked for only 5-6 months at Surasaa and was terminated because of performance problems. And she submitted fagment in her resume to get the job in the first place and you mention this fagment on her LinkedIn,” he wrote.
“It turns out that she has forged her offer letter, salary briefs and letter of experience while she came to Lawsikho at Lawsikho. We have received a confirmation from Suraasa that all that have been submitted to us are fake,” Mr. Mukherjee added.

The incident has caused a wave of reactions on social media.
“It is disappointing to see the situation unfold in this way. Although the regulations of the work-of-house offer flexibility, they must be accompanied by accountability and professionalism. As an organization it is fair and necessary to implement policy such as following time and activities, especially when there are performance problems,” a user wrote.
“Such employees are double threats. 1) They take salary from their employer and do not contribute to profitability. 2) They use company resources such as confidential material to work for the competitors,” another noticed.
“WFH is abused by many in this industry. People with self -motivation and personal ethics – don't care – they work well everywhere, but that characteristic is extremely rare in India,” said a third user.
