Auto-rickshaws are ubiquitous in Indian cities and quite popular for cheap short-distance travel. To attract more passengers, drivers often decorate their three-wheelers with bright colours, witty slogans or quirky posters. Recently, X user Tanvi Gaikwad shared an image of a unique auto-rickshaw. The three-wheeler had a window on one of its sides, which surprised Ms. Gaikwad. While one side of the vehicle was left open for passengers to get in and out, the other side had a flat glass window, giving the rickshaw a quirky, half-automobile look.
“This car has a window, why?” she wrote on X while sharing a photo of the rickshaw.
