Una:
Twelve children of migrant workers have been admitted to the regional hospital in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district after complaining of vomiting and abdominal pain, officials said on Saturday.
The children who lived with their families in Lalsinghi village swallowed poisonous fruits from a nearby forest when their parents went to work last night. The children were between the ages of three and nine, officials said.
Dr. Vikash Chauhan, a pediatrician at the hospital, said when the children were taken to the health center their condition was critical. After proper medication, they are now stable, he added.
Una police have launched an investigation into the matter.
