Muzaffarnagar, UP:
Three people, including a two-year-old boy, were killed on Saturday while five others were injured in a traffic accident, police said.
“A speeding truck collided with a fence and flipped two cars on the Delhi-Haridwar highway,” a police official said.
“Ashish Avasthi (35), his wife Nupur (34) and their cousin Kasmi (2) died in the accident. Five other people in the cars were injured,” he said.
The injured have been hospitalized and two of them are in critical condition. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, police said, adding that the truck driver is being sought.
