But six of these tested positive when they had another test here Some members of the catering team also tested positive,” Nitish Kumar said.
All those who visit the Chief Minister’s Secretariat every Monday for his outreach program ‘Janata Ke Durbar Mein Mukhyamantri’ undergo the mandatory tests.
“The cases are spreading too fast now. It’s like the last time we witnessed a sudden spike in cases. We have to be very careful. The positive samples will be sent for further testing to confirm the strain,” he said .

Bihar reports an increase in COVID-19 cases since the past week or so. On Sunday, 352 new cases were reported in the state, 71 more than the previous day’s figure, while Patna remained the worst-hit district, with 17 doctors among the 142 testing positive.
In the past two days, 96 medics from Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna have also tested positive, raising alarms about the rapid spread of the virus and even doctors falling prey to it.
However, despite the increase in the number of cases, Nitish Kumar has ruled out any possibility of canceling his ‘Samaj Sudhar Yatra’ in Gaya – another district hit hard by COVID-19.
