Meerut (Uttar Pradesh):
In case of negligence, an ambulance with a patient driving Saturday evening from Bijnor towards Meerut, suddenly ran out of fuel en route.
A resident of the village tied the ambulance to a tractor to tow it to the nearest gas station. As soon as the information on this matter came to light, it caused a stir among district officials.
Meerut’s chief medical officer, Dr. Akhilesh Mohan relayed the incident, saying: “The ambulance did not come from Meerut. It came from Bijnor to Meerut when the fuel ran out.”
A video of the incident went viral on social media, after which the incident came to light.
