With this, the families of 24 people killed by terrorists have received nomination letters from the interior minister, officials said.
On March 18, Mr Shah handed appointment letters in Jammu to the families of four Jammu and Kashmir police officers who sacrificed their lives fighting terrorists in the valley.
Last October, during his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after the repeal of Article 370 of the constitution, Mr Shah met the relatives of Inspector Parvaiz Ahmad in Nowgam. Ahmad was also killed by terrorists.
The interior minister had handed over the letter of appointment for a government job to Ahmad’s family.
