The internet has gone crazy over a video of a Royal Bengal Tiger jumping from a boat while being carried to the Sundarbans to be released into the wild. The video shows the rescued tiger jumping into the water, and without even looking back, making its way into its natural habitat.

It was shared by Indian Forest Officer (IFS) Parween Kalwan on Twitter with the caption: “Tiger-sized jump. Old video of the rescue and release of the tiger from Sundarbans.”
Since the video was posted, the video has been viewed more than 88,000 times, liked by 4,000 people, and is still gaining popularity.
A Twitter user named ‘Mitra Joshi’ commented on the video, “Reminds me of Life of Pi! Richard Peter never looked back :)”
“That sound… That swimming… Wow…,” commented another user.
In February, another such video was shared on Twitter by the same IFS officer, who documented the rescue and release of a Himalayan Black Bear. The video was captioned: “How freedim loks like!! A Himalayan black bear was stranded. Our teams have started since the morning. Rescue work was successful without any injury to humans and animals, Team Work.”
Mr Kaswan later tweeted: “Several teams reached the site for rescue and also crowd control. The site was very far from Forest so rescued. After medical checkup, the animal was released back into its natural habitat.”
That video also received a lot of attention on social media after it was posted and Mr. Kaswan and his team were praised for their good work.
Videos of wildlife are often a hit on social media. Users love the photos that show these animals enjoying themselves in their natural habitat.
