The Home Secretary reiterated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s accusation that the state government was working for the benefit of just one man and his family.
He said KCR gave powers to his children and not to the elected representatives.
Referring to the TRS bearing symbol of a car, Mr Shah accused the control to be in the hands of AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi.
“I have been in public life for 13 years and have never seen a worse government,” he said.
The Minister of the Interior then attacked the KCR government on numerous issues, such as the purchase of rice fields, education and housing. He also accused the state government of fooling people by renaming the projects funded by the Center and posting the photo of him and his son on it.
On the alleged quirkiness against BJP activists, he claimed attempts were being made to make Telangana like West Bengal, a clear reference to the deaths of party employees in the eastern state, for which the BJP blames the ruling TMC there.
