New Delhi:
In a horrific incident in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, a dog was killed by employees of a dog training center. The two employees hung the dog from an entrance gate and pulled it from one side by the chain around its neck, officials said.
Operator Ravi Kushwaha and the two employees – a man and a woman – have been arrested in the case.
They are also said to have tried to delete the CCTV footage that showed the distressing incident.
Nikhil Jaiswal, a businessman from Shajapur in Madhya Pradesh, bought the dog about two years ago and sent it to Misrod in Bhopal for training in May. The center charged him a fee of Rs 13,000 per month, and the training would be completed in September.
However, on October 9, Ravi told Nikhil that the dog died because he was not feeling well.
The incident came to light after Nikhil filed a police complaint after suspecting something was wrong.
During the police investigation, the camera images were also retrieved with the help of a cyber cell.
